Protected AI is looking for an AI & LLM Application Engineer to build practical AI systems for business environments. You will work on local and hybrid AI solutions, internal knowledge assistants, document processing workflows, and integrations with external AI models.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop LLM-based business applications
• Build RAG systems and internal knowledge assistants
• Integrate local and external language models
• Design document ingestion, embedding, and retrieval workflows
• Implement structured outputs, model routing, and prompt workflows
• Evaluate model quality, latency, and reliability
• Connect AI components with existing backend systems
• Document technical architecture and implementation decisions

Your Profile

• Strong experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Practical experience with LLM APIs and open-source models
• Knowledge of embeddings, vector databases, and RAG
• Experience with tools such as Ollama, vLLM, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
• Understanding of model evaluation and prompt design
• Ability to build production-ready systems rather than prototypes only
• Clear communication and reliable remote collaboration

Nice to Have

• Experience with OCR or document processing
• Experience with local model deployment
• Familiarity with enterprise software environments

We are looking for a Cloud & AI Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate secure, scalable AI environments. You will work on local, private cloud, and hybrid deployments for companies that want more control over how AI is used.

Your Responsibilities

• Design local, private cloud, and hybrid AI infrastructure
• Deploy and operate AI runtimes, model servers, and supporting services
• Build containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes
• Configure networking, access control, monitoring, and logging
• Integrate infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Support GPU-enabled workloads and performance optimization
• Build CI/CD pipelines for AI services
• Define update, backup, and maintenance routines

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements, workflows, and existing infrastructure
• Design internal, hybrid, and custom AI architectures
• Define suitable use cases for local and external models
• Create technical concepts and implementation roadmaps
• Coordinate developers, infrastructure specialists, and customer stakeholders
• Translate complex AI topics into clear business decisions
